The IMPS were again featured in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo during 2013, appearing alongside the worlds leading acts the Imps gave faultless performances for every show earning the respect of all. The television coverage goes out to 20 million viewers around the world and every seat was taken for every performance throughout the tattoo. During the show the Imps lived at MOD Caledonia, Rosyth, formally HMS Caledonia where they were made most welcome by the staff. Bussed in to Edinburgh on a daily basis the Imps needed to work twice the hours of most other performers, servicing and moving motorcycles and preparing for each performance to fit in with the movements and security arrangements for all the other acts. As is always with the tattoo the IMPS were able to meet with performers from around the world and to meet new and exciting friends from as far afield as Mongolia and South Korea to Mexico and New Zealand also to meet up with old friends from around the United Kingdom. Scotland always makes the IMPS welcome and this year was no exception. The experiences gained will stay with the Imps forever. Riding on the esplanade at Edinburgh Castle is always a challenge but a challenge the IMPS take in their stride, the Board and staff are immensely proud of the Imps achievements as we look forward to new and exciting venue around the world in 2014.
